About Tiffanie
My Background
Tiffanie has never been afraid of exploring life.
She was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas. But, her story began in Louisiana, where she attended McNeese State University on an athletic scholarship as a discus thrower for the track and field team. Athletics taught her discipline and endurance, but volleyball was always the sport she loved most—a passion she carried with her for years, eventually playing competitively while living in Germany.
Creativity became another language for her. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Art before continuing to Iowa State University, where she completed an MFA in Graphic Design. That path eventually took her overseas for nearly three years to Germany in 2009 and later to Oklahoma, where she became an associate professor of graphic design.
Then life shifted again.
She married her husband in 2013, became a mother to two children, and stepped away from academia to be fully present for her family. For several years, motherhood became the center of her world. But somewhere inside that life, another calling was becoming impossible to ignore.
In 2021, Tiffanie returned to school at the University of Houston and changed the trajectory of her life. She felt drawn toward advocating for women—toward understanding the stories beneath the lives people could see from the outside.
Her work as a Licensed Professional Counselor began in trauma, but something deeper kept revealing itself. Again and again, she met women who had learned how to survive, achieve, care for everyone else, and become exactly who life required them to be—yet somewhere along the way, they had lost a clear sense of themselves.
Trauma was not always the reason.
But the question underneath it often sounded remarkably similar:
Who am I now—and how did I get so far away from myself?
That question changed the direction of Tiffanie’s work once again. It became the beginning of re:you, and a new chapter in a life that has always been about discovering what becomes possible when we are willing to listen to the part of ourselves asking for more.
